Job Description

We're hiring a Head of E-commerce to lead and scale our online marketplace business across major platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and emerging digital retail formats.

  • This P&L leadership role demands strong analytical skills, a builder's mindset, and cross-functional expertise to drive growth, optimize margins, and lead a high-performing team.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience scaling online-first businesses in consumer categories and will function as a business unit owner with full autonomy, reporting directly to founders and investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketplace P&L: Owns revenue, contribution, pricing, and product profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Manages and grows a cross-functional team.
  • Platform Relationships: Builds relationships with platform teams.
  • Category Strategy: Decides product selection, pricing, and launch plans.
  • Demand & Ops Alignment: Aligns plans with supply chain and finance.
  • Growth Levers: Experiments and scales new e-commerce growth strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decisioning: Uses analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Business Reporting: Creates updates and growth charters for leadership and investors.
  • Location: Based in Udaipur or open to relocation.

Day-to-Day Activities

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in e-commerce, category, or digital business leadership.
  • P&L Leadership: Proven ability to scale D2C or marketplace businesses.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong foundation in data analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
  • Team Building: Proven track record of building high-performance teams.
