Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site E-Commerce Executive role based in Kolkata. The E-Commerce Executive will oversee daily operations of online sales channels, manage customer accounts, develop and implement sales strategies, and analyze key performance metrics to identify growth opportunities. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with teams to manage sales, optimize team performance, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Catalog & Listing Management (The Setup)

  • End-to-End Listing:Manage entire product lifecycle from SKU creation to go-live on Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart.
  • Bulk Uploads:execute bulk listing operations using flat files and Excel templates, ensuring accurate attribute mapping.
  • Content Optimization:Write SEO-friendly titles and bullet points; manage A+ Content/EBC to improve conversion rates.
  • Error Resolution:Troubleshoot and fix listing suppression, GTIN errors, and brand registry conflicts immediately.

2. Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce) Specifics

  • Dark Store Coordination:Coordinate stock allocation to specific regional dark stores to ensure 10-minute delivery eligibility.
  • Assortment Planning:Prioritize high-velocity SKUs for Quick Commerce platforms where storage space is limited.
  • Fill Rates:Monitor and maintain high fill rates to prevent listing delisting by Q-commerce algorithms.

3. Inventory & Order Operations (The Management)

  • Inventory Planning:Monitor daily stock levels (Days of Cover) to prevent Out-of-Stock (OOS) situations during peak traffic.
  • Order Processing:Oversee the full order cycle from order receipt to label generation and dispatch within SLA timelines.
  • Returns Management:Analyze Return-to-Origin (RTO) data to identify patterns and reduce future returns.

4. Account Health & Performance

  • Metric Monitoring:Maintain account health by keeping Order Defect Rate (ODR) and Late Dispatch Rate (LDR) below 1%.
  • Promotional Management:Configure and manage coupons, lightning deals, and platform-specific operational campaigns.
  • Competitor Analysis:Track competitor pricing and listing quality to adjust strategies accordingly.
Key Skills & Tools Required
  • Platforms:Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Blinkit/Zepto Partner Panels, Shopify.
  • Technical Skills:Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables for bulk files), SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
  • Soft Skills:Vendor negotiation, crisis management (handling sudden delistings), and analytical thinking.
