About The Role

The Flipkart Marketplace Executive will be responsible for managing Ugaoo's presence on Flipkart (Marketplace & Minutes). This role focuses on driving revenue growth through effective listing management, inventory control, pricing strategies, and platform marketing initiatives. You will work closely with Flipkart category teams and internal stakeholders to ensure strong platform performance and visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth execution across Flipkart Marketplace and Flipkart Minutes
  • Create, manage, and optimize product listings (titles, images, descriptions, keywords, and attributes) to improve discoverability and conversions
  • Monitor and manage real-time inventory levels; coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
  • Process purchase orders (POs) and track fulfilment timelines to ensure timely deliveries
  • Track daily sales performance, including category-wise reports, daily trends, and units sold
  • Analyse sales data and marketplace performance to identify growth opportunities and optimize product mix
  • Implement and manage pricing strategies, including MRP updates, discounting, and promotional pricing on a regular basis
  • Plan and execute platform-specific marketing campaigns (Flipkart ads, deals, banners, and events) to drive visibility and revenue
  • Coordinate with internal marketing and design teams to create high-performing creatives and campaign assets
  • Collaborate closely with Flipkart category managers and SPOCs to improve product visibility, participation in events, and overall revenue growth
  • Conduct regular audits of listings to ensure accuracy in pricing, content, and availability
  • Monitor customer feedback, ratings, and reviews to maintain high product quality perception
  • Stay updated on marketplace trends, competitor activities, and Flipkart algorithm or policy changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in any field (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing e-commerce marketplaces, preferably Flipkart or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of marketplace operations including listings, ads, pricing, and inventory management
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable with periodic travel, if required
