Position: E-Commerce(D2C) & Growth Marketing Lead
Location: Ahmedabad (WFO)
Experience: 6-10 years purely in top D2C/E-commerce Brands.
Position Overview
We're launching a luxury home furnishing D2C/omni-channel brand and seeking a hands-on E-Commerce & Growth Marketing Lead to own our digital commerce strategy end-to-end. In this role, you will drive commercial growth, optimize operations, and champion a customer-first approach across all digital touchpoints.
Responsibility: -Website & app management, traffic & conversion, revenue, margin & customer retention. Key Tasks:
- Coordination with web & app development agencies & internal stakeholders. - Website & app performance optimization (conversion rate, UX, overall performance) - Paid acquisition (Google, Meta), Customer retention & profitability (LTV, repeat purchases, email) - Daily e-commerce dashboard review (Orders, conversion rate, avg order value, cart abandonment) - Coordination with agencies for execution of paid campaigns directed towards website & App traffic & conversion.
- Coordination of weekly tasks: Inventory sync, payment reconciliation, performance reporting - Coordination between all e-commerce functions (Marketing, Operations, Fulfilment, Customer Service)
- Reviewing Agency reports on ROAS Return on Ad Spend and ensuring optimization. - Customer database segmentation.
- Cross-functional leadership (coordinating website, marketing, operations agencies)

What you will do:
Website, App Development & Operations management: Oversee daily operations across all e commerce channels, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and consistency ensuring smooth end-to-end functionality of digital platforms.
- Daily monitoring of e-commerce metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, cart abandonment) - Lead A/B testing program; run 4-6 concurrent tests
- Partner with Shopify development agency on UX optimization, feature development - Ensure benchmarked page load time, uptime, seamless mobile experience
Growth/Performance Marketing/Paid Advertising & Conversion: Drive commercial success by analyzing performance data, budgets, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Manage end-to-end performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention and revenue targets. Own audience strategy, bid optimization conduct experiments, A/B testing to optimize campaigns.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify insights and growth opportunities.
- Use attribution tools and data-driven forecasting to maximize ROI and improve funnel performance. - Recommend website merchandising strategies and conversion optimization initiatives. - Experience in brand media planning and optimizing top-funnel KPIs.
Customer Retention & Profitability: Champion a customer-first mindset and continuously enhance user experience across all digital touchpoints to maintain leadership in digital customer experience.
- Implement strategies to collect and leverage customer data for engagement, retention, and LTV. Calculate and optimize unit economics (CAC, LTV, margin).
- Manage customer data, personalize online shopping experiences, and optimize segmentation for targeted communications.
- Design email marketing sequences (nurture, retention, upsell) using platforms like Mailchimp, etc. - Build loyalty program, track repeat purchase rate.
Stakeholder management:
- Weekly syncs with internal team, agencies, operations, fulfillment teams
- Reporting: Website metrics, paid ads performance, customer analysis
- Coordinate inventory sync, payment reconciliation, vendor management
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6-10 years proven experience in D2C, e-commerce management, growth & performance marketing.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions with experimentation approach (A/B testing) and balance short-term priorities with long-term growth. - Experience in performance forecasting, budget management, and revenue planning. - Proficient in Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Excel & Power BI skills. - Must have Shopify or similar platform experience.
- Knowledge of e-commerce strategy, commercial activity planning, and partnership management.
- Expertise in digital customer experience, CRM strategies, and omnichannel integration. - Solid understanding of operational excellence, including process optimization and resource management.
