Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an E-commerce Accountant, based in Delhi, India. The E-commerce Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records related to e-commerce operations, including processing transactions, tracking revenues, expenses, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. The role involves ensuring accuracy in financial data, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and providing support in budgeting and financial analysis. The Accountant will also oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in implementing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and tracking online sales transactions
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and data tools
• Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate financial concepts clearly
• Familiarity with tax laws, regulatory compliance, and statutory filings in India
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in an e-commerce or retail accounting environment is a Must
