POSITION SUMMARY
The candidate will be a Dynatrace support engineer responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the effective use of Dynatrace's monitoring and performance management platform. As a Dynatrace Support Engineer, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for our clients using the Dynatrace platform. Your role is crucial in helping customers maximize the value of Dynatrace's Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tool by resolving issues related to application performance, configuration, and deployment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and an innovative thinker with a strong focus on client relationships, quality of delivery and a continuous focus on improving existing processes, procedures and applications.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS
Provide Tier 1 & 2 technical support: Respond to customer issues related to Dynatrace setup, configuration, performance monitoring, and reporting tools.
Troubleshooting and diagnostics: Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems in application performance, infrastructure monitoring, and log management using Dynatrace. Investigate complex technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure minimal disruption to client operations.
Monitor and analyze system performance: Assist in the deployment of Dynatrace agents and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for applications, servers, database, and network components.
Configure and optimize Dynatrace dashboards: Help clients set up customized dashboards, alerts, and reports to meet their monitoring needs and provide insights into system health and performance.
Incident management and root cause analysis: Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions for recurring issues.
Collaborate with cross functional teams: Work with development, operations, and IT teams to improve the overall performance and reliability of applications.
GOOD TO HAVE
Minimum experience required is 3+ year with Dynatrace, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
Proficiency in troubleshooting application and infrastructure performance issues across various environments (e.g., Java, .NET, databases)
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Experience in creating custom dashboards, reports, and alerts within Dynatrace.
Hands-on experience with cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical problems to non-technical audiences
Exposure to at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, C, C++, Golang
Certification in Dynatrace or cloud technologies is mandatory.
