Dyeing Manager

Job Description :-

• Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day dyeing operations.
• Ensure fabrics are dyed as per approved shade standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor dyeing recipes, chemical consumption, and process parameters to achieve consistent quality.
• Optimize machine utilization, production efficiency, and manpower productivity.
• Minimize shade variation, fabric defects, reprocessing, and wastage.
• Ensure timely completion of dyeing orders in line with production schedules.
• Coordinate with the Merchandising, Production, Quality, and Planning teams to meet shipment deadlines.
• Monitor fabric quality, colour fastness, shrinkage, GSM, and other physical parameters.
• Control production costs by optimizing chemical, dye, water, steam, and energy consumption.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, export quality standards, and testing parameters.
• Maintain production reports, dyeing records, MIS reports, and machine efficiency reports.
• Ensure proper maintenance and preventive maintenance of dyeing machines and utilities.
• Lead, train, and develop the dyeing team to improve operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental regulations, and 5S practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers for dyes, chemicals, and process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
