Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dyeing Manager role based in Dahanu. The Dyeing Manager will oversee daily dyeing operations, including planning production schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring that fabric is dyed according to quality, colorfastness, and safety standards. The role involves monitoring dyeing machinery and chemical usage, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing improvements to reduce waste and enhance efficiency. The Dyeing Manager will lead and train dyeing staff, coordinate with quality control and production teams, maintain accurate records of batches and inventory, and ensure compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations. The role also requires collaboration with sourcing and merchandising teams to meet customer specifications and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in fabric dyeing operations, including thorough understanding of dyeing processes, chemicals, and machinery.
• Proven ability to manage production schedules, optimize workflows, and meet quality and delivery targets in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams, providing training, and promoting a safe and inclusive work culture.
• Working knowledge of quality control standards, color matching techniques, and fabric performance requirements for sports and performance apparel.
• Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations related to dyeing and textile processing, and experience implementing compliance procedures.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams such as production, sourcing, and quality assurance.
• Ability to analyze data from production reports, identify root causes of defects or delays, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Preferably a diploma or degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Chemistry, or a related field, with prior experience in a dyeing managerial or supervisory role.
