We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FP&A Manager with a proven track record in the US pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Gross-to-Net accounting, financial modelling, and product profitability analysis. Additional skills in tax-related matters, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial performance and forecasts.
- Oversee Gross-to-Net accounting processes, including the calculation and analysis of gross and net revenues, accruals, rebates, chargebacks, and other deductions.
- Conduct product profitability analysis to evaluate the financial performance of individual products, including pricing strategies, cost of goods sold, and contribution margins.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to develop and implement revenue recognition policies and practices in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, providing insights and recommendations to senior management on areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the FP&A function, leveraging technology and automation where possible.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in pharmaceutical accounting and FP&A.
Additional Skills
- Knowledge and experience in handling tax-related financial matters.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights to senior management.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in financial analysis and reporting.
Required Qualification : Qualified Chartered Accountant
