The Ducting Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising ducting installation work at site, coordinating with contractors, understanding drawings, preparing as-built drawings, and ensuring high-quality and timely completion of project activities.
- Key Responsibilities / Site Execution Supervision
- Oversee ducting installation work (GI ducts, MS ducts, accessories, supports, hangers, etc.).
- Coordinate with installation teams and contractors to ensure work is executed as per standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections and ensure safety compliance.
- Drawings Documentation
- Read and understand engineering drawings, duct layouts, and section details.
- Prepare site drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions if required.
- Provide accurate measurements and ensure proper alignment orientation.
- Site Coordination
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams regarding site progress.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on work status.
- Identify site issues and resolve them promptly.
- Material Handling
- Verify and monitor availability of ducting material, tools, and consumables.
- Raise material requirement reports as needed.
- Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports.
- Maintain documentation for installation quality and completion.
- Skills Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Engineering in Mechanical or related field.
- Minimum 1+ years experience in ducting or HVAC site work.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings (AutoCAD preferred).
- Knowledge of duct installation standards and measurement.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on site.
- Additional Requirements
- Willing to visit sites in Pune region.
- Should have basic computer knowledge (AutoCAD / MS Office).
- Must ensure safety, quality, and timelines are followed at the project site.
