We are looking for a Duck Creek Policy Business Analyst with strong P&C insurance domain knowledge to support implementation and enhancement of the Duck Creek Policy (DCP) platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Duck Creek Policy implementations.
- Prepare functional specifications, use cases, and business rules.
- Support configuration of products including LOBs, coverages, rules, forms, endorsements, and underwriting guidelines.
- Work on policy lifecycle transactions such as New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, and Rewrites.
- Act as a liaison between business users, developers, QA, and integration teams.
- Support Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT coordination).
- Assist QA and business teams during UAT, defect triage, and go‑live support.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, underwriting, and state filing requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
- 4–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in P&C Insurance.
- Hands‑on experience with Duck Creek Policy (DCP).
- Strong understanding of Personal Lines or Commercial Lines insurance.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to other Duck Creek modules (Rating, Billing, Claims).
- Experience with PAS integrations and data mapping.
- Knowledge of ISO rules, state filings, and compliance processes.
- Duck Creek certifications.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, IT, or related field.
