We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Lead Policy & Billing QA professional to join our team in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, or Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 9-12 years of extensive experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in the insurance domain, with a deep understanding of Duck Creek Policy and Billing systems. This role involves leading QA efforts, developing test strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

QA Leadership & Strategy

• Define and implement QA strategy, test approach, and governance for Duck Creek Policy & Billing projects.
• Lead end-to-end testing lifecycle: SIT, System Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, Regression, and Production validation.
• Coordinate with business, developers, product owners, and vendors.
• Manage QA team (onshore/offshore), review deliverables, and ensure quality standards.

Duck Creek Functional Testing

• Validate configuration and customizations in:

o Duck Creek Policy Administration (DCPA)

o Duck Creek Billing

• Test rating, underwriting rules, product configuration, forms, workflows, and integrations.
• Validate billing plans, invoicing, commissions, payment processing, and financial transactions.
• Perform end-to-end P&C lifecycle testing (Quote Bind Issue Endorsement Renewal Cancellation Billing).

Integration & Data Testing

• Validate integrations with:

o Claims systems

o Payment gateways

o Document management systems

o Data warehouses

• Conduct API and batch interface testing.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation.

Automation & Tools

• Design and oversee automation framework (TOSCA).
• Ensure regression automation coverage for critical business flows.
• Use test management tools (Azure DevOps).

Defect & Risk Management

• Track defects, conduct root cause analysis.
• Report QA metrics, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years in Duck Creek Policy & Billing as QA.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience in:

o Duck Creek Policy Admin configuration

o Duck Creek Billing

o Manuscripts, rating, forms, workflows

• Experience in SIT, UAT, regression, and E2E testing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Duck Creek certification (preferred).
• Experience in automation testing.
• Exposure to Duck Creek Data Insights / Reinsurance (nice to have).
• Experience in cloud deployments (Azure/AWS).
• Knowledge of SQL and data validation.
