About the Position
We are looking for a Dubbing Director to join our team. We are looking for a philomath who is not afraid to push the boundaries and is comfortable driving outcomes independently.
Responsibilities
- Drive the creative adaptation of scripts by collaborating with writers and ensuring cultural, linguistic, and tonal accuracy aligned with the original content.
- Review Localization Sheets (KNP/Glossary) and maintain script quality and sync to support 95% Right First Time (RFT) outcomes.
- Cast appropriate voice talent as per creative briefs, scout fresh talent, and direct artists to deliver highquality, emotionally authentic performances.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, QC, writers, directors, and engineers to ensure smooth dubbing workflows and timely delivery of assets.
- Identify and flag creative, linguistic, cultural, or brandsensitive risks early, ensuring alignment with client and internal expectations.
- Oversee basic production documentation, including script versions, line counts, cast lists, contracts, and daily artist logs/bills.
- Implement QC feedback promptly and ensure all corrections are incorporated before mix and final delivery.
- Maintain adherence to platform guidelines and internal SOPs to achieve high-quality, compliant dubbing outputs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Creative contributor or similar role in the media/ localization/ advertising industry.
- Strong portfolio reflecting impactful, culturally resonant creative work.
- Deep understanding of narrative structure, voice direction, and multilingual storytelling.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with localization tools and workflows
- Passion for pushing creative boundaries in global content adaptation
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and at least two of the following: Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, or Tamil
