Job Title: Audio DSP Software Engineer Automotive IVI / CDC
Job Purpose
Responsible for Audio DSP software development for Automotive In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) and Cockpit Domain Controller (CDC) products, focusing on high-performance, real-time audio processing on Griffin / SHARC DSP platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Audio DSP components on Griffin / SHARC DSP platforms using C.
- Develop audio applications on Griffin DSP using C and C++.
- Design and develop test tools, perform unit testing, and validate audio features.
- Perform structured root-cause analysis of audio defects and implement effective fixes.
- Review design and implementation; provide technical feedback and improvement recommendations.
- Analyze customer change requests and update design, implementation, and documentation accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system, integration, and validation teams.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Strong expertise in C programming with good working knowledge of C++.
- In-depth experience with audio processing on SHARC cores, including:
- Audio management
- Chime arbitration and playback
- Multi-core interactions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with RTOS and OS concepts.
- Proven experience in DSP audio design and development.
- Solid embedded hardware understanding (datasheets, schematics).
- Experience working with Git version control.
- Exposure to or experience with automotive infotainment systems.
