Job Description – Draughtsman 2D & 3D 

Job Title : Draughtsman

Location: Mumbai - Colaba (HO) + Site Visits

Employment Type : Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman with experience in 2D drafting and 3D design preparation. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, the ability to create accurate drawings/models, and experience working with design and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models based on project requirements.

Create technical drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, and sections.

Develop and modify CAD drawings as per client or engineer specifications.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams for design updates.

Ensure all drawings comply with technical standards and project guidelines.

Prepare BOQ/basic material details from drawings if required.

Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.

Review and revise drawings based on feedback and site conditions.

Preparation of detailed renders & walk through

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma/ITI/Certificate in Drafting, Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, or related field.

Experience in AutoCAD and 3D design software such as SketchUp, SolidWorks, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar tools.

Good understanding of technical drawings and design standards.

Ability to prepare accurate 3D visualizations/models.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and coordination abilities.

Experience Required

Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting and 3D design preparation.

Experience in [Interior / Mechanical / Civil / Architectural] projects preferred.

Software Knowledge

AutoCAD

SketchUp (Compulsory)

Additional knowledge - Revit / SolidWorks / 3ds Max / Lumion will be an added advantage.

MS Office
