Job Description: Civil Draftsman Designer & Engineer

Responsibilities & tasks:

Execute work in compliance with the project requirements and the Company's quality system.

Civil structural studies and preparing sketches for Drafting.

Engineering deliverables such as Layouts, GADs, Assembly drawings, Single part drawings & RCC detail drawings in AutoCAD 2D.

Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and plans in accordance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.

MTO preparation and checking

Ensures efficient utilization of software in the team

Optimize the engineering and design process in terms of manhours, schedule and quality.

Any other activities assigned by Lead or HOD

Qualifications:

Should be a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or equivalent degree from recognized university or DME with minimum of 2 years of experience.

2 years of experience in engineering department preferably from Boiler industry, Powerplants and Oil & Gas Industry.

Civil Engineering Design and Engineering Drawings skills

Technical Drawing and Civil Engineering Drafting skills

Proficient in reading/drawing and verifying P&IDs, PFDs, Layouts and other System Drawings

Knowledge in preparing RCC and Steel Structural drawings

Knowledge and experience with various Codes and relevant standards, etc.,

Have knowledge of 2D tools like ACAD. Stadd Pro and Tekla as advantage

Strong verbal and written communication skills; good organizational and time utilization skills

Ability to work independently and within project teams

Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products

A Good team player who communicates well, open / transparent and takes initiative - Interpersonal skills to be able to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Takes ownership and responsibility for his / her deliverables.
