Job Overview
The Civil Draftsman Will Be Responsible for Preparing Accurate 2D Civil Drawings, Layouts, And Detailing Using Auto CAD For CBG, Solar And Allied Infrastructure Projects. The Role Involves Close Coordination with Design Engineers And Project Teams To Ensure Drawings Meet Technical Standards, Client Specifications, And Project Timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Detailed 2D Civil Drawings, Plans, Sections and Layouts (Foundations, Buildings, Equipment Foundations, Pipe Racks, Trenches, Roads, Drains, Boundary Walls, Etc.) Using Auto CAD.
- Develop Civil GA Drawings, Reinforcement Detailing, And Construction Drawings Based On Engineering Inputs and Concept Design.
- Prepare and Update Civil Drawings For Site Development, Grading, Utilities, And Other Infrastructure Related To CBG Plants And Solar Projects.
- Coordinate with Structural, Mechanical And Piping Teams For Interface Details And Incorporate Required Changes In Civil Drawings.
- Review, Revise and Check Drawings For Accuracy, Dimensions, Levels, And Compliance With Relevant Codes, Standards And Company Procedures.
- Prepare and Maintain Drawing Registers, Revision Histories And As-Built Drawings.
- Support Preparation of Bill Of Quantities (BOQ) And Material Take-Offs From Drawings, Where Required.
Qualifications And Skills
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Or ITI Draftsman (Civil) From A Recognized Institute.
- 57 Years of Experience As A Civil Draftsman, Preferably In Consultancy / PMC Or Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects. Preference Will Be Provided to Candidates With Previous Experience In Consultancy Firms, PMCS Or The Oil & Gas Sector.
- Strong Proficiency In Auto Cad (2D) With Good Knowledge Of Civil And Structural Detailing Practices.
- Exposure to Infrastructure And Industrial Projects Such As Plants, Pipelines, Storage, Utilities And Associated Civil Works.
- Ability to Read And Interpret Civil/Structural Drawings, Engineering Sketches And Technical Specifications.
- Good Understanding of Relevant IS Codes And Industry Standards For Civil And Structural Drafting.
- Strong Attention to Detail, Accuracy And Drawing Quality, With Ability To Manage Multiple Drawing Deliverables Within Deadlines.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration Skills To Work With Multidisciplinary Project Teams.
