Job Description:
- Support engineers within a specific discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, structural, process) with EPC, Fabrication and Industrial project layout and design, including project start-up, scheduling and vendor contacts. Requires heavy interaction with job site personnel and project management on engineering procedures and problem resolution
- Assist engineers with initial design and drawing requirements
- Establish drawing set-up procedures applicable to the job for CAD personnel
- Conceptualise plans, details and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements/details
- Responsible for checking and back-checking drawings produced by CAD personnel
- Coordinate vendor-supplied drawings or information into project drawings
- Design of cable routing, cable tray sizing, earthing routing, lighting system and its circuiting for process plants. Candidate shall be conversant with designing of Cable tray layout, Earthing & Lightning protection layout, Illumination layout, SLD, etc.
- Preparing MTO
- On-site coordination, troubleshooting & project management support
- Site Visits to study actual on-site conditions, technical problems & their possible solutions
- Review vendor proposal and drawings.
- Candidate shall be able to demonstrate an understanding of safety concerns at all levels of drawing preparation.
- Candidate shall be able to understand the instructions from Design Engineers and further develop drawings & detailing.

Essential Qualifications:
- Overall 8-10 years of experience in 2D & 3D modelling using AutoCAD and Plant 3D for large-scale industrial projects in Oil & Gas, Power, and Petrochemical.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be capable of interacting with other engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and clients.
- Read, write and communicate using the English language sufficiently to perform job functions
