Job Title: .NET Developer – Application Remediation & Modernization

Job Purpose:

Execute application remediation and upgrade activities by modernizing legacy .NET applications while ensuring functional stability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Refactor legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET Core / .NET 6+ environments.

• Replace deprecated APIs and libraries with modern and supported alternatives.

• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to resolve dependency and integration challenges.

• Develop unit tests and regression test suites to validate application upgrades and ensure quality.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing standardized upgrade patterns and best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance during modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in .NET application development.

• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.

• Familiarity with legacy .NET Framework versions (4.3 / 4.5 / 4.8) and migration approaches.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and testing methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to application modernization and migration projects.
