The Donor Relations Manager will be responsible for building, nurturing, and strengthening relationships with individual, institutional, and corporate donors.

This role ensures high-quality donor engagement, transparent reporting, and long-term partnership development aligned with NavGurukul's mission and growth plans. It bridges program delivery and donor expectations, ensuring commitments are met with clarity, accountability, and compelling impact storytelling.

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned donors.
• Build long-term, trust-based partnerships through regular communication and engagement.
• Develop and execute donor engagement plans (check-ins, campus visits, milestone celebrations, impact updates).
• Ensure high donor retention, satisfaction, and confidence in NavGurukul's execution.

• Oversee timely and high-quality donor reporting (programmatic and financial), in coordination with finance and program teams.
• Ensure compliance with donor agreements, grant terms, and fund utilization requirements.
• Track deliverables, reporting deadlines, and commitments across all donors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of donor contracts, reports, and communications.

• Translate program outcomes into compelling impact narratives.
• Coordinate case studies, student stories, data insights, and campus updates for donor communication.
• Prepare presentations, impact decks, newsletters, and annual summaries.
• Support leadership in donor meetings with relevant data and reporting materials.

• Work closely with campus teams, academics, placements, finance, and operations to gather updates aligned with donor commitments.
• Flag risks or deviations early and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Ensure clarity between donor commitments and operational feasibility.

• Identify opportunities to deepen existing donor relationships (renewals, scale-up, multi-year commitments).
• Support proposal development for renewals and expansion.
• Map potential funding opportunities aligned with NavGurukul's strategic priorities (AI programs, Computer Science enhancement, residential campuses for girls, etc.).

• Plan and manage donor visits to campuses.
• Organize review meetings, milestone events, and impact showcases.
• Ensure donors feel connected to the mission and student journeys.

• 58 years of experience in donor management, partnerships, fundraising, or CSR engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience handling institutional, CSR, or philanthropic donors.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong alignment with NavGurukul's mission of equity and access.

• Experience in the education or skilling sector.
• Familiarity with CSR reporting and compliance requirements.
• Data-driven storytelling ability.
• Comfort engaging with government stakeholders.

• Donors feel informed, valued, and confident in NavGurukul's execution.
• Reporting systems are structured, predictable, and timely.
• Strong internal coordination between program and donor expectations.
• Renewal or scale-up conversations initiated with key donors.

Since we are a non-profit organization, our salaries are more modest compared to corporate roles. For some candidates, this may mean a 6080% change from their current compensation. We share this openly and with respect, knowing this is an important decision.

For this role, the compensation range is 56 LPA, depending on your skills and experience.
