Job Description

The key responsibilities are as follows -

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the power industry - specifically transformers
  • Lead and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and effective collaboration
  • Identify and target potential markets to expand the company's footprint at a pan-India level
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions in the transformers space
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all sales activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts with overall business goals

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Head should have:

  • A strong sales background in the transformer space - working with clients in the private sector
  • Experience in building business from ground up and scaling it exponentially at a pan-India level
  • Proven expertise in sales within the industrial/manufacturing or engineering industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
