Role & responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute a Class: Deliver structured lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
- Prepare for a Class: Develop lesson plans and instructional materials in advance to ensure effective teaching. Summarize key lessons at the end of each session and assign homework to reinforce learning.
- Issue Books and Uniforms: Distribute textbooks, course materials, and uniforms to students as required.
- Conduct Guest Lectures and Field Visits: Organize and lead guest lectures and field visits for practical exposure.
- Attendance: Maintain accurate attendance records for students.
- Assignments & Assessments: Set and review assignments for students to assess understanding and application of material. Conduct ongoing assessments to gauge student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Administer and evaluate final exams and projects to assess overall learning outcomes. Grade and provide feedback on final exams, assignments, and projects.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Requisition for Consumables: Submit requisitions for necessary teaching supplies and materials.
- HR-related Functions: Manage own personal attendance, leaves, and other HR-related duties.
- Batch Performance Dashboard: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the class using the batch performance dashboard.
- Create a Batch: Constitute and set up a new batch for the course.
- Maintain Scorecard for Each Student: Track and update student scores regularly in the scorecard.
- View Batch Calendar: Access and plan for upcoming guest lectures, industry visits, and other scheduled activities.
- Stay updated on academic and industry trends: Stay updated on industry trends to enhance course delivery.
- Participate in faculty meetings: Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
Preferred candidate profile
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Graduation or higher in the related field depending on the Sector Skill Council requirement.
Professional Experience: 2 or more years of sector specific experience and teaching experience depending on the Sector Skill Council requirement.
Local candidates will be preferred.
Marathi proficiency is a must.
