As a Domain Technical Project Manager at Nokia, you will lead and deliver custom software development projects in the telecom domain. You will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define project goals while managing project scope, timelines, and resources. Your responsibilities include facilitating communication, conducting architecture discussions, ensuring quality standards, and integrating Agile practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop a comprehensive Project Management Plan detailing scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
  • Facilitate communications between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Oversee project documentation and reporting to track progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews to align with design metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Drive integration of Agile practices to enhance team collaboration and productivity.

Key Skills And Experience

Must-Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in delivering software development projects with 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager.
  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks, including practical experience with Scrum and Kanban.
  • Practical experience in Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint reviews.
  • Expertise in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint.

Nice-To-Have:

  • Experience in delivering custom applications or telecom location services projects.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with Lean practices for process improvement.
  • Experience in conducting code reviews and quality assurance processes.
