Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Django Backend Engineer to join our IT team and take ownership of developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performing web applications. This is a role that involves working closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient backend solutions and seamless integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Design, integrate, and optimize REST APIs for performance and reliability
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following industry best practices and coding standards
• Conduct unit testing to ensure quality and minimize production issues
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend performance
• Ensure all applications are secure, scalable, and responsive
• Collaborate effectively with designers, frontend developers, and clients for seamless development
• Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• 24 years of hands-on experience in backend development with Django and DRF
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Experience with unit testing frameworks in Python
• Knowledge of performance tuning, database optimization, and version control (Git)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional remote teams
