We are seeking a skilled and motivated DCS Engineer to join our team working on next-generation Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The ideal candidate will have 5+years of hands on expertise in process automation, digital solutions, and familiarity with systems like Foxboro DCS and EcoStruxure Automation Expert. This role focuses on ensuring seamless integration and functionality of advanced automation technologies in industrial environments.
Position: Feature Integration Tester
Location: Hyderabad
Technical Skills:
- Experience with digital solutions in process automation, such as SCADA, PLC, and industrial communication protocols like Modbus, OPC UA
- Knowledge on the programming languages (Functional Block, Structure Text) for DCS configuration and control
- Configuration, Runtime and diagnostic of the Eco Structure Foxboro DCS
- Configuration of AVEVA System Platform & HMI
- Strong understanding of system interactions and integration testing methodologies.
- Knowledge on security Testing
- Experience with debugging tools and troubleshooting techniques
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute effective test cases, scripts, and environments for thorough integration testing of DCS systems
- Identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues and defects to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and other testers to ensure clear understanding and efficient communication
- Automate test cases to improve efficiency and repeatability
- Work with various testing tools and debugging frameworks to validate system performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in process automation and system integration
Required Industry Experience:
- Strong understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including architecture, functionality, and applications in industries like oil and gas, chemical, and power
- Familiarity with process automation principles, including control loops, instrumentation, and automation strategies
- Hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of DCS systems
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric's product portfolio, particularly Foxboro DCS and EcoStruxure Automation Expert, is a plus
