Position: Dispatch & Logistics ExecutiveKey Responsibilities1. Dispatch & Transportation
- Plan and execute daily dispatch operations, including transportation scheduling, vehicle arrangement, and route planning.
- Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
2. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock movements.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) for effective inventory control.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and manage all shipping-related documents including invoices, delivery challans, and regulatory paperwork (GST, E-Way Bills, etc.).
- Ensure all logistics and dispatch activities comply with statutory laws, safety norms, and company policies.
4. Cost Efficiency
- Monitor and control logistics expenses such as freight, packaging, and warehousing costs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising delivery quality or timelines.
5. Problem-Solving & Crisis Management
- Anticipate potential logistical issues and implement proactive preventive actions.
- Handle transportation delays or disruptions with effective coordination and minimal business impact.
- Communicate timely updates to internal teams and customers.
6. Vendor Management
- Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party logistics providers (transporters, warehouse operators).
- Evaluate vendor performance periodically to ensure reliability and service excellence.
Key Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory systems, and MS Office (especially Excel & Word).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 23 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or dispatch preferably in an MSME/manufacturing setup.
- Good knowledge of GST, E-Way Bills, and related logistics compliance requirements.
