Disaster Recovery Specialist

Disaster Recovery:

Work with Infrastructure, Application and Business teams to design recovery profiles. Work with Application and Business teams to define recovery test conditions

• Work with GIS Recovery Operations team to setup recovery configuration

• Coordinate with relevant teams to plan and test during recovery testing cycles

• Update any relevant knowledge management documentation

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

Technical Knowledge

- Broad technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage & virtualization.

- A good understanding of the application stack and dependencies into core services such as AD, DNS

and NTP

- Understanding of disaster recovery architecture and principles.

- Experience of dashboarding / PowerBI

Soft Skills

- Pro-active, self-starter with good communication skills

- Solid planning, tracking and reporting skills
