Director, Supply Chain Planning (SAP IBP)

We're currently working on a Director, Supply Chain Planning (SAP IBP) search for a client in the manufacturing industry. The role will lead the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's supply chain planning solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with business leaders across Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, and Finance to build integrated planning capabilities that help the business make smarter decisions, improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory, and enhance customer service.

You will play a key role in driving our digital transformation by leading the implementation and optimization of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the technology strategy for supply chain planning.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand planning challenges and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
• Lead the implementation and enhancement of SAP IBP across demand planning, inventory planning, supply planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Ensure SAP IBP integrates effectively with SAP S/4HANA to support end-to-end planning and execution.
• Drive large-scale transformation projects to modernize planning processes and improve operational performance.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of solution architects, product owners, and business analysts.
• Work with cross-functional teams to standardize planning processes and promote best practices across the organization.
• Champion continuous improvement by leveraging advanced planning capabilities, analytics, and scenario modelling.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience leading IT solutions within supply chain planning.
• Strong expertise with SAP IBP and experience integrating it with SAP S/4HANA.
• Solid understanding of supply chain planning processes such as demand planning, inventory optimization, supply planning, and S&OP.
• Experience delivering enterprise-wide SAP transformation or digital transformation programs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience in manufacturing, life sciences, consumer goods, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
• SAP IBP or SAP Supply Chain certifications are an advantage.
