Key Responsibilities
- Student Welfare & Wellbeing Leadership Provide strategic oversight of institutional mechanisms supporting student wellbeing, counselling services, and welfare programmes, ensuring accessible and responsive support systems.
- Grievance Redressal & Student Trust Strengthen the university's student grievance management framework, ensuring complaints are addressed with transparency, timeliness, and procedural fairness.
- Discipline Governance Administer the university's student conduct and discipline framework, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and maintaining a fair and respectful campus environment.
- Student Engagement Ecosystem Lead the development and oversight of student clubs, societies, and leadership platforms that promote extra-curricular, leadership development, and community participation.
- Institutional Collaboration & Policy Development Work collaboratively with university leadership and academic units to design and implement policies that enhance student welfare, campus life, and institutional culture.
Educational Qualification
- Master's Degree from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. preferred in Management, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum 12-18 years of experience in higher education administration, student affairs, or student services.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Demonstrated experience in student welfare governance, grievance systems, counselling services, discipline administration, and student engagement programmes is essential.
