The Opportunity

In this role, you will lead our organization's data transformation. In this strategic role, you will bridge the gap between advanced data science and business execution. You will build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers, leveraging Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and cutting-edge Generative/Agentic AI to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong quantitative background who can translate technical insights into actionable management decisions.

The Responsibilities & Duties

  • Define and execute the roadmap for predictive analytics and AI adoption across the organization, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of data scientists and engineers. Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the technical data team and non-technical business stakeholders. Translate complex analytics results into clear, compelling narratives that drive management decisions.
  • Oversee and contribute to the development of advanced quantitative modules and predictive assessments using Python and other modern tools.
  • Spearhead the development and deployment of solutions utilizing Generative AI and Agentic AI workflows to automate complex processes and enhance decision-making.
  • Direct the execution of complex analyses including optimization, text analytics, social-science modeling, and customer segmentation.
  • Conduct rigorous technical risk analyses and reliability assessments on all models to ensure accuracy, fairness, and stability before deployment.

The Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD from a reputable institution in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in predictive analytics, machine learning, and data science.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a team lead or management role, specifically overseeing technical teams.
  • Proven hands-on exposure to solution development within Generative AI and Agentic AI frameworks.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python (Non-negotiable) and strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Cloud Platforms: Solid experience deploying solutions in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of econometric and statistical methods, including:
  • Linear, Logistic, Generalized Linear Models (GLM).
  • Random Forest, XG Boost, Clustering, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Support Vector Machines.
  • Survival Analysis, Time Series Analysis, Factor Analysis, Multidimensional Scaling, Propensity models.
  • Ability to understand business pain points and map them to data science solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical jargon for executive leadership.
  • A critical thinker who can navigate ambiguity and solve unstructured problems using data.
