Director / Sr. Director - Investment Banking (M&A)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), equity financing, and other strategic advisory engagements within the target sectors.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives, investors, and key decision-makers.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the firm's footprint and strengthen sectoral presence.
• Oversee the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, pitch materials, and client presentations, ensuring quality and strategic alignment.
• Mentor, guide, and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture centered on collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to cross-sell advisory and financial services, delivering holistic client solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments to anticipate client needs and enhance strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related financial advisory domains.
• Proven track record of leading and closing high-value transactions across multiple sectors.
• Established network of industry contacts and investor relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills with experience leading diverse teams.
• Advanced expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and analytical problem-solving.
• MBA in Finance or equivalent professional qualification (CFA, CA) preferred.
