Overview: Solution Architect (Managed Services/Sustain Large Deals)
Publicis Sapient is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead complex managed services pursuits spanning application, infrastructure, and cloud landscapes. This is a critical leadership role that demands deep expertise in solutioning, various estimation models, and modern engineering practices such as Agile and DevSecOps. The ideal candidate will possess strong presales experience, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset to drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Your Impact
As a Solution Architect focusing on Managed Services/Sustain Large Deals, you will:
- Lead end-to-end architecture for large-scale, multi-tower managed services, encompassing applications, infrastructure, and cloud operations.
- Drive complex presales engagements, from comprehensive RFP analysis and accurate effort estimation to meticulous solution design and compelling client presentations.
- Apply deep expertise in Agile, DevSecOps, and modern engineering practices to shape scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions.
- Develop and implement accurate estimation models, including ticket-based, benchmark-driven, and story-based sizing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to craft compelling solution proposals and lead client engagements, defending the proposed solution during presentations.
- Leverage knowledge of digital transformation, application modernization, cloud migration (AWS/Azure/GCP), data & AI, and ideally commerce platforms like Salesforce, to enhance solution value.
- Champion innovation through the strategic use of automation, observability tools, and emerging technologies like Generative AI (GenAI) to optimize service delivery and performance.

Core Skills & Experience:
- Overall IT Experience: 14-23+ years of total IT experience.
- Solution Architecture Experience: 7-10+ years specifically in solution architecture for managed services or large-scale IT transformations.
- Managed Services Expertise: Proven expertise in architecting multi-tower managed services, which includes application support, infrastructure management, and cloud operations.
- Presales and Estimation: Strong background in presales activities, including RFP response, proficiency in various estimation models (ticket-based, T-shirt sizing, benchmark-driven), and client-facing solutioning.
- Client Presentation: Ability to effectively defend the proposed solution during client presentations.
Technical & Methodological Skills:
- Modern Engineering Practices: Deep knowledge of Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies, and overall engineering excellence practices.
- Digital Transformation Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with key digital transformation areas such as application modernization, cloud migration (across AWS/Azure/GCP), data & AI, and ideally experience with commerce platforms like Salesforce.
Tools & Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
- Observability & Monitoring: Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).
- Automation & Emerging Tech: Experience with automation and emerging technologies like Generative AI (GenAI).
- Relevant Certifications:Cloud Architect certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
- ITIL (highly beneficial in a managed services context).
