We are seeking a dynamic academic leader with strong expertise in retail and e-commerce, combining teaching excellence, research capability, and industry engagement. The role involves academic leadership, curriculum development, faculty mentoring, research promotion, and industry collaboration across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the School of Retail Management
- Design, deliver, and oversee undergraduate and postgraduate courses in retail and e-commerce
- Develop and update curriculum aligned with industry trends and digital retail transformation
- Mentor faculty and guide students on academic progress, projects, internships, and dissertations
- Lead and promote research activities and publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Foster industry partnerships for live projects, consultancy, internships, and collaborative research
- Participate in academic planning, accreditation processes, and university committees
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong academic and leadership experience in retail and e-commerce domains
- Industry collaboration or consultancy experience in retail, e-commerce, or allied sectors
- Knowledge of emerging trends in digital retail, AI applications, and e-commerce platforms
- Innovative teaching pedagogy with a focus on experiential and student-centric learning
- Proven ability to build industry-academia partnerships
