The Director Business Operations will be responsible for leading, scaling, and optimising the overall operational strategy of the organisation. This role requires a seasoned FM professional who understands Integrated Facility Management (IFM), manpower-heavy service delivery, client management, and multi-location operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day business operations across soft services, technical services, security, housekeeping, and specialised FM offerings.
Drive operational excellence by establishing robust performance metrics, SLAs, and compliance frameworks.
Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and P&L for all operational verticals.
Build strong relationships with key clients and ensure high service delivery standards.
Address escalations, conduct business reviews, and ensure contract retention and customer satisfaction.
Partner with cross-functional teamsHR, Finance, Procurement, BDto support operational continuity.
Contribute to long-term strategic planning and expansion goals.
Identify process improvement areas and introduce best practices for efficiency and scalability.
Support business development teams in solutioning, pricing, and operational feasibility during bids.
Lead and mentor regional and functional operational heads.
Drive a performance-driven culture and ensure capability building across teams.
Experience: 1525 years in the Facilities Management industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Industry: Mandatory experience in FM/IFM/Facility Services/Property Operations.
Age: Below 50 years.
Qualification: Graduate; MBA preferred (not mandatory).
Strong expertise in operations management, client relationship handling, and multi-site service delivery.
