About The Role:

We are seeking a Product Marketing Director who loves turning complex, technical concepts into crisp narratives that win hearts, minds, and deals. In this role, you will specifically support the fast-growing strategic Platforms business, sitting at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Sales to shape how we tell our story to business and technical leaders alike.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You'll own market and customer insights-backed product positioning and messaging, scale our content library, and ensure that every channel reinforces a cohesive platform story.

This role will act as a bridge between Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches, strong market differentiation, and revenue growth. The individual will play a critical role in shaping how Tanla's platform solutions are positioned in the market, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

What you'll be Responsible for:

  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Define clear, differentiated messaging and value propositions for Tanla's product suite. Translate complex technical capabilities into compelling customer-centric narratives.
  • Market Intelligence & Insights: Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify trends and opportunities in telco communications. Deeply understand pain points, journeys, and buying triggers—and use those insights to sharpen messaging, prioritize content, inform sales plays, and guide future positioning tests.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools including pitch decks, solution narratives, case studies, and battle cards to improve conversion rates and win ratios.
  • Demand Generation: Partner with marketing teams to design and execute campaigns that drive pipeline, product adoption, and revenue growth.
  • Customer & Product Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer by incorporating feedback into product positioning and marketing strategies. Build strong product storytelling aligned with real-world use cases.
  • Communications - Lead feature and release communications. Communicate what's new and why it matters to enable internal teams and drive external adoption.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Leadership teams to ensure alignment on product vision and execution. Lead and mentor the product marketing function.

What should We look in you

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or Telecom
  • Proven experience in building and executing successful GTM strategies for global products
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus, preferred from Tier 1 institutions background
  • Strong executive presence with a strategic mindset and execution excellence
  • Understanding of enterprise platforms, APIs, messaging ecosystems, or cloud communications
  • Exceptional storytelling, positioning, and communication skills
  • Use AI to scale your impact—from drafting and research to experimentation—while maintaining a high quality bar
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to global markets (APAC, Middle East & Africa) is preferred
