About the Role
We are looking for an AVP/Director Product Management to lead the product strategy for search, ranking, personalization, and conversion optimization across our platforms. In this high-impact role, you will manage a team of Product Managers and Analysts, working across functions to identify user friction points, deliver hyper-personalized experiences, and build data-driven features that drive discovery, engagement, and conversions throughout the funnel.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and drive the long-term product vision for conversion optimization across web and app platforms.
- Identify and prioritize high-leverage opportunities that directly impact signup, purchase, or transaction funnels.
- Create a structured roadmap that aligns with business growth goals and enhances user experience.
Data-Driven Optimization
- Use a scientific approach to identify drop-offs, friction points, and bottlenecks across the user journey.
- Work closely with Data Science to run experiments (A/B, multivariate) and use insights to iterate quickly.
- Establish and monitor key metrics such as conversion rate, bounce rate,funnel progression, and retention impact.
- Experimentation &Execution
- Champion a culture of rapid testing and learning by leading multiple experiments in parallel.
- Launch and scale features using MVPs, prototypes, and phased rollouts, ensuring continuous validation.
- Ensure product quality and stability throughout, QA, and internal usage (dogfooding) practices.
User-Centered Product Design
- Collaborate with Design and Research teams to build intuitive, accessible, and Gen-Z- friendly interfaces.
- Focus on reducing cognitive load, increasing trust, and improving the perceived value of conversion steps.
- Continuously seek customer feedback to inform product enhancements.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Align and collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Design, Analytics, and Business teams to deliver outcomes.
- Clearly communicate goals, progress, and learnings to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Foster a results-driven culture with high accountability and transparency.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers and Analysts.
- Provide direction, feedback, and support to elevate execution quality and individual development.
- Drive alignment within the product team and encourage strong experimentation and impact-oriented mindset.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of total work experience, with 6+ years in product management at a high-growth tech or consumer internet company.
- Strong background in conversion rate optimization, funnel optimization, and data- informed decision making.
- Proven experience in running successful A/B tests and improving product metrics.
- Good technical understanding of how web and mobile product stacks work.
- Familiarity with experimentation tools, analytics platforms, and growth product strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking ability, rooted in first-principles thinking.
- Prior experience managing and scaling a team of PMs.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
