Role Overview:
Coforge is seeking to appoint a Director Sales to lead huntingled growth across Central Government Ministries and PSU accounts in India This is a highimpact leadership role for a seasoned sales professional who thrives on new logo acquisition large deal closures and solutionled selling in the Government ecosystem.
This is not just a sales role it is an opportunity to shape Coforge's Government business influence marquee wins and create a lasting impact within one of the fastestgrowing global IT services firms
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive new business acquisition across Central Government Ministries PSUs and allied agencies
- Build qualify and convert a robust hunting pipeline spanning large marquee deals as well as midsized repeatable opportunities to sustain revenue momentum
- Lead solutionled and RFPdriven sales pursuits working closely with presales solution architects delivery and alliances teams
- Develop deep trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders decisionmakers influencers and system integrators
- Strategize and execute bid management proposal defense and negotiations for complex highvalue government tenders
- Track and drive order booking TCV pipeline conversion and win ratios with strong governance and predictability
- Act as a marketfacing leader representing Coforge in government forums industry bodies and strategic discussions
- Contribute to account shaping GTM strategies and longterm Government business growth plans
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven sales hunter with deep experience selling IT Services Digital Cloud Data Cyber Application and Managed Services to Government and PSU clients
- Strong established network across Central Government Ministries PSUs and key ecosystem partners
- Demonstrated success in closing large complex multiyear Government deals while also nurturing midsized opportunities
- Strong understanding of Government procurement frameworks RFPs tenders GeM and complianceled sales cycles
- Highly solutionoriented able to translate business problems into technologyled outcomes
- Executive presence with the ability to engage CXOs Secretaries CMDs and senior bureaucrats
- Selfdriven resilient and comfortable operating in ambiguous highgrowth environments
