TradeBacked Manager / Director / VP Finance - Mid to Senior Level Finance Position
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Finance & Operations Professional to join TradeBacked, a growing Private Credit Fund. This mid-senior level role will be split equally between accounting, fund accounting and financial management (33%) and credit underwriting & operations (33%), liaising with banks/investors/funds, and fundraising initiatives (33%).
The ideal candidate is an expert in accounting, a self-starter, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an individual contributor mindset with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The candidate must be open to working in US EST hours (India time: 5:30 PM 2:30 AM). (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
Finance, Operations, and Fundraising Support
- Institutional & retail Investors - work closely with the fundraising team in sales, reporting, and liaising with investors
- Private Credit Fund Operations Oversee fund administration, investor reporting, and capital flows.
- Business Development Initiatives Support investor outreach, relationship management, and deal structuring.
- Fundraising Support Assist in identifying and engaging with investors, structuring deals, and exploring capital sources.
- Process Optimization Improve operational efficiency across fund and finance functions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with investment, legal, and compliance teams.
Accounting & Financial Management
- Entity-Level Book Consolidation Manage and consolidate financial statements across multiple entities.
- Month-End & Year-End Closures Oversee accounting processes and ensure accurate reporting.
- Financial Forecasting & Budgeting Develop detailed financial models and long-term projections.
- QuickBooks & Accounting Operations Maintain accurate bookkeeping and reconcile accounts.
- Regulatory & Compliance Management Ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, and other financial standards.
- Audit & Reporting Support audit processes and investor reporting.
- Credit Underwriting Credit underwriting of mid-sized businesses with international exposure
- Credit underwriting of transactions or loans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 6-8 years of experience in accounting, financial management, and fund operations.
- CA or CPA certification is mandatory.
- Expert in accounting with substantial experience in QuickBooks, entity-level book consolidation, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Experience in private credit, alternative investments, or financial services preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-starter, individual contributor, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Time Zone: Must be open to working US EST hours (India time: 5:30 PM 2:30 AM).
