We are looking for a Director of Engineering/ Engineering Manager for YourDOST.

In this role you would be responsible for technical direction, execution and maintenance of all in-place, ongoing and new product initiatives. You will be the owner and an individual contributor for the Engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with product, design, operations and marketing team to build and deliver high-quality products.
• Drive the architecture and design of complex, multi-tier applications, systems and services using object-oriented design and distributed programming.
• Gather business and functional requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical specifications to build robust solutions.
• Establish a consistent, project management framework and excellent development processes to deliver high quality software in rapid iterations.
• Serve as a technical lead throughout the development cycle.
• Hire, coach, and mentor individuals; build a strong cross-functional organization

Desired Skills

• 5 - 10 years of experience working with good product companies.
• Expert Knowledge of Backend and DevOps side of things: Java, Springboot, AWS, Microservices
• Good Understanding/ Knowledge of Mobile side of things: Flutter, React Native
• Great if you have hands on experience with front end tech too (Angular, React)
• Have extremely high standards on whatever you do.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, a great work ethic and attitude
