Job Title: Director of Delivery & Operations

Role Overview

The Director of Delivery & Operations will lead end-to-end software product delivery and operational execution, with full accountability for quality, timeliness, cost control, revenue realization, and margins. This role is responsible for ensuring successful software product implementations while optimizing delivery costs, resource utilization, and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee end-to-end delivery of software product implementations across customers
  • Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of all software deliverables
  • Drive revenue realization through successful and predictable deliveries
  • Maintain ownership of delivery margins by actively managing costs, utilization, and efficiency
  • Plan, track, and optimize delivery costs, including staffing, subcontracting, and operational expenses
  • Establish and monitor KPIs such as Defect Leakage, Schedule Adherence, SLA Adherence, Resource utilization, efficiency and margins
  • Lead capacity planning and ensure optimal resource utilization and productivity
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure seamless execution
  • Identify delivery, financial, and operational risks and implement mitigation plans
  • Define, standardize, and continuously improve delivery processes, governance models, and best practices
  • Build, mentor, and scale high-performing delivery and operations teams
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through strong governance, communication, and execution discipline

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in software delivery, operations, or program management, in a software productbased company
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar role.
  • US P&C Insurance experience will be preferred.
  • Strong experience leading software product implementations with financial accountability
  • Proven track record of managing costs, revenue, and margins in delivery organizations.
  • Experience with P&L ownership or close partnership with finance
  • Ability to manage cross-functional and distributed teams at scale
  • Strong analytical, financial, and executive communication skills
