Director Cyber Security (BFSI)
Our client is seeking an experienced Director Cyber Security to lead and grow their BFSI cyber portfolio across the Indian domestic market. This client-facing role demands strong cyber advisory expertise, deep understanding of RBI/SEBI regulations, and proven leadership in delivering security transformation for banks, NBFCs, exchanges, and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cyber strategy, governance, cloud security, and end-to-end security operations engagements for BFSI clients.
- Advise CXO-level stakeholders on evolving threats, regulatory expectations, and cyber maturity enhancement.
- Drive presales activities including solution design, proposals, client presentations, and deal shaping.
- Oversee large cyber transformation programs including SIEM/SOAR, SOC build/run, threat management, CTEM, ASM, BAS and AppSec.
- Ensure full compliance with RBI, SEBI, CSCRF and sector-specific security norms.
- Manage multi-disciplinary delivery teams and ensure high-value client experience.
- Support growth of organization's domestic cyber business through account mining, partnerships, and thought leadership.
What You Bring:
- 1520+ years in cyber security with strong BFSI exposure in the Indian market.
- Expertise in cyber operations, cloud security architecture, TPRM, VAPT/AppSec, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong presales capability: proposals, workshops, scoping, and solutioning for large cyber programs.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently and convert opportunities into successful engagements.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP (preferred).
