Construction Director | EPC / EPCM Projects
We are looking for a senior Construction Leader to drive execution of large, complex EPC/EPCM projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and cost-effective delivery.
This role typically includes construction of :
- Oil & Gas plants (refineries, petrochemical units)
- Power plants (thermal, renewable, nuclear)
- Chemical & process plants
- Heavy manufacturing facilities
- Large infrastructure (ports, pipelines, terminals)
New plant setup (Greenfield)
Expansion / revamp of existing facilities (Brownfield)
Multi-site, complex global projects
Role Summary :
The Construction Director will lead end-to-end construction execution, focusing on strategy, project readiness, risk management, and delivery excellence, while aligning with overall project and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead construction execution across multiple projects and locations
- Ensure alignment with schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets
- Drive constructability reviews, planning, and site mobilization
- Manage subcontractors, site operations, and construction risks
- Champion HSE compliance and a strong safety culture
- Support bid management with execution strategies and inputs
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Mentor and develop construction leadership teams
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)
- 25+ years of experience in EPC/EPCM construction delivery
- Proven track record in leading large, complex projects
- Strong expertise in commercials, contracts, and risk management
- Experience managing multi-location / large-scale site operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
