  1. Whizz HR is on a lookout for Business Development Director

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building to expand our client base.

Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a robust and efficient sales pipeline.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.

Collaboration: Work closely with the design and project management teams to understand client requirements and tailor proposals to meet their needs.

Client Meetings: Schedule and attend client meetings to understand their vision, provide tailored solutions, and address any concerns.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 7-12 years of experience in customer service and sales (preferably in the landscape and interior design business)
  • Excellent communication skills, articulate, soft-spoken, driven, energetic, outgoing, focused, and result-oriented
  • Coachable and enjoys learning new skills
  • Proven experience as a business development executive, sales representative, or similar role will be advantageous.
  • Ability to present and explain ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential clients and listen actively to their needs.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to meet or exceed sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with designers and other staff members
