The Role
As the Director of Business Development, you will be the spearhead of our US growth. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role (with future leadership potential) focused on hunting and closing new logos. You will target C-suite and VP-level stakeholders in the US to position Cloudlogz as their preferred partner for high-end Data and AI talent.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Sales: Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within the US IT staffing market, specifically targeting the Data/AI niche.
Strategic Prospecting: Build a robust pipeline of A-list prospects using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and your existing network.
Executive Presence: Lead high-stakes presentations and pitches to VPs of Engineering, Chief Data Officers (CDOs), and Procurement heads.
Relationship Management: Navigate complex MSA (Master Service Agreement) negotiations and VMS/MSP onboarding processes.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of US tech trends (Generative AI, Snowflake, Databricks) to speak as a subject matter expert, not just a recruiter.
Collaboration: Work closely with the US-based leadership and the India-based recruitment delivery team to ensure candidate quality matches client expectations.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT Staffing Sales, with at least 5 years specifically selling to the US market from India.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Data and AI landscape. You should know the difference between a Data Engineer and a Data Scientist.
Communication: Flawless English communication skills with the ability to build rapport with US-based executives.
Shift Flexibility: Ability to work US Business Hours (EST/CST) to ensure real-time engagement with clients.
Track Record: Proven history of billing $1M+ annually or adding 5+ enterprise logos in a single year.
Tools: Mastery of CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) and modern sales outreach stacks.
