Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and highly skilled Director of ADMS (Application Development & Modernization Services) with deep hands-on technical expertise in Java, Python, Cloud, and DevOps, combined with strong leadership capabilities to manage large-scale delivery teams. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise transformation initiatives, modernize complex application portfolios, drive solution strategy for RFPs, and partner with business stakeholders for end-to-end requirements gathering and solution definition. This role demands strong technical acumen, business consulting ability, and proven experience managing large teams (50+ members) across multi-shore environments.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- 10+ years hands-on experience with Java and Python, including architecture, design, and implementation.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)migration, design patterns, modernization, and cloud-native architecture.
- Deep understanding of DevOps tools & practicesCI/CD (GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), and automation frameworks.
- Experience with API development, microservices, event-driven systems, integration patterns, and distributed architectures.
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching strategies, performance optimization, and security best practices.
Business & Consulting Skills
- Proven experience contributing to and leading RFP/RFI responses, solution architecture, and client presentations.
- Strong experience in business requirements gathering, BRD/FRD creation, process mapping, and stakeholder analysis.
- Ability to drive discussions with business and technology leaders to shape modernization strategies.
- Experience delivering transformation programs in complex enterprise environments.
Leadership Skills
- 5+ years in a director-level or senior leadership role managing teams of 50+ members.
- Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and cross-functional leadership.
- Ability to influence senior executives and drive organizational alignment.
- Excellent people management skillsteam building, mentoring, performance management.
