Lead and grow a cross-functional IC design team (analog, digital, verification, layout) in Bangalore.
Drive execution excellence across all development stages concept, design, verification, tape-out, validation and production while ensuring alignment with company strategy and meeting time-to-market and quality goals.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance at both architectural and transistor level, helping the team implement optimized, robust analog and power circuit designs.
Mentor engineers and promote the use of rigorous design methodologies, solid design reviews, and disciplined verification practices.
Collaborate closely with product definition, applications, and marketing teams to help define new products, represent design team in customer interactions, providing technical insights, and helping refine existing roadmaps based on customer and market needs.
Work in close partnership with other power design teams across the organization to ensure architectural alignment, IP reuse, and best-practice sharing.
Promote a culture of ownership, technical rigor, innovation and collaboration within the team.
Qualifications:
10+ years of industry experience in analog/power IC design, with 5+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
Deep hands-on expertise in power management IC design, including buck converters, high-voltage, and low-power analog/mixed-signal circuits.
Strong background in IC design methodology, verification flows, and silicon validation.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design teams and deliver products on schedule and to spec.
Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional partners in product definition, applications, marketing, test, process technology and peer design teams globally.
Strong communication and leadership capabilities, acting as a key bridge between the Bangalore team and global counterparts.
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
