Director Market Research & Analytics

Position Overview:

The Director, Market Research & Analytics will lead our Market Research & Analytics team and drive the development, execution, and continuous improvement of advanced quantitative research methodologies and analytical frameworks.

This role requires a strategic leader with a strong technical foundation, exceptional methodological expertise, and outstanding management capabilities. The Director will translate complex data into clear, compelling, and actionable insights while ensuring methodological rigor and quality at every stage.

Reporting directly to the Head of Research (with close collaboration with the CEO), this position plays a critical role in shaping the company's research strategy and elevating our analytical standards across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Co-develop and oversee large-scale company excellence and sentiment studies in collaboration with the Head of Research for top-tier media partners.

Design robust research methodologies and detailed execution plans.

Lead and manage the end-to-end research process, including survey programming, panel management, fieldwork oversight, and desk research initiatives.

Serve as the primary quality control authority, ensuring the highest standards of methodological rigor, accuracy, and reliability.

Develop compelling methodology presentations and pitch materials for media partners.

Oversee and standardize the documentation of research methodologies and processes.

Manage and mentor an international team of up to 15 researchers.

Continuously refine analytical models and research frameworks to enhance innovation, scalability, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in market research, ideally within a research agency, advertising agency, consultancy, or large brand organization.

Proven experience managing complex research studies from design through delivery.

Deep expertise in research methodology, study design, and statistical analysis.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong quality control capabilities.

Strong academic writing skills with experience documenting methodologies and research processes.

Advanced analytical skill set with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SPSS, R, Python, or similar statistical software.

Extensive experience in survey design and online access panel management.

Experience conducting consumer and sentiment research; healthcare research experience is a plus.

Master's degree in psychology, sociology, mathematics, economics, statistics, market research, business, or a related field (PhD is a plus).

Experience leading large-scale, complex, multi-market research initiative
