Position: Director Kitchen Operations

Organisation: Leading NGO

Experience: 15 - 20 years

Qualification: Bachelor's / Master's degree

CTC: 35 LPA

Location: Hyderabad

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day functioning of 25+ high-capacity centralized kitchens.
  • Implement and monitor SOPs for production, hygiene, food safety, and FSSAI compliance.
  • Ensure timely production and dispatch of breakfast meals to thousands of schools.
  • Lead statewide operations for the breakfast program in government schools for underprivileged children.
  • Coordinate with Education Department, District Collectors, DEOs, MEOs, and school authorities.
  • Manage inspections, audits, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead Directors of Operations, Supervisors, Kitchen Managers, and field teams.
  • Oversee training, discipline, and workforce management.
  • Oversee procurement of raw materials and packaging.
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply chain, vendor management, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory, logistics, and monthly stock planning.
  • Work closely with CFO on costing, consumption analysis, budgeting, and variance control.
  • Monitor per-meal cost, manpower expenses, and operational overheads.
  • Lead establishment of new centralized kitchens.
  • Introduce automation, modern equipment, and process improvements.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Minimum 15 years work experience in large-scale food production / centralized kitchen operations

Flexibility to travel across sites.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Ability to manage multiple facilities and large teams.

Strong communication and government liaison abilities.
