Role Summary
We're hiring a Director, Influencer Marketing to own the influencer/creator function end-to-end and scale it into a predictable growth engine—focus on US and other international markets. This is a strategic leadership role: you will set the vision, define the channel strategy and operating model, lead a team and work cross-functionally to drive measurable outcomes like trial bookings, event sign-ups, pipeline growth, and efficient CAC/ROI.
You'll be the senior owner of the channel—balancing brand building with performance, and building repeatable systems that scale.
Key Responsibilities
1) Build the Strategy & Channel Operating Model
- Define the global influencer roadmap with a clear US scaling plan and a repeatable framework for international expansion.
- Architect the creator portfolio strategy (micro/mid/macro, ambassadors, affiliates/performance creators) and the content programming calendar.
2) Lead the Team & Drive Execution
- Lead a high-performing influencer team—setting goals, coaching execution, and raising the bar on creator quality and performance rigor.
- Partner with agencies/vendors where needed; own budget allocation, partner selection, and output quality.
3) Drive Outcomes
- Work to shape narratives and creator formats that resonate with parents and students (TikTok/IG/YT).
- Collaborate with Performance Marketing on paid amplification to scale best-performing content.
4) Measurement, ROI & Continuous Optimization
- Own the influencer measurement framework and reporting: CPL, CAC, ROAS, and efficiency by creator cohort.
5) International Scaling
- Build a market-entry playbook for influencer marketing across priority geos
- Partner with regional stakeholders (as required) to localize execution while maintaining a consistent global strategy and measurement standard.
Requirements (Must-Have)
- 10-15+ years experience in influencer/creator marketing with proven outcomes at scale .
- Experience working in the international markets
- Strong analytical and ROI orientation
- Experience leading a team and managing budgets.
- Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube creator ecosystems and trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Preferred
- Experience in education/edtech or parent-focused consumer brands.
- Familiarity with influencer compliance best practices
- Experience with influencer discovery/management tools and performance dashboards
