Role Summary
As the Director of Growth Marketing for the Delhivery Courier App, you will own the end-to-end growth strategy for our B2C and C2C courier services. Your mission is to scale our user base, optimize the customer acquisition funnel, and drive long-term loyalty in a highly competitive, trust-based market. You aren't just a marketer; you are a product-growth hybrid leader who understands how to turn an infrequent, utility-based app interaction into a habitual user experience.
Your Mandate
- Scale Efficiently: Oversee multi-channel acquisition strategy (Performance Marketing, SEO, ASO, Affiliate, Referral) to drive high-intent user acquisition while maintaining aggressive CAC targets.
- Master the Funnel: Obsess over conversion rate optimization (CRO) at every stepfrom app install to booking completion and successful parcel handover.
- Drive Retention: Develop lifecycle and CRM strategies that turn one-time shippers into repeat users.
- Bridge the Gap: Work hand-in-glove with Product and Engineering to build growth loops directly into the app experience (e.g., viral referral mechanisms, frictionless checkout).
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the 12-18 month growth roadmap, aligning marketing initiatives with the broader P&L and business objectives.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Lead a team of growth managers and data analysts to run high-velocity experiments. You will define the culture of A/B testing, hypothesis generation, and rapid iteration.
- Segmentation & Personalization: Leverage user data to segment audiences (e.g., Occasional Senders vs. SME/Small Business Users) and deliver personalized messaging via email, push, and in-app channels.
- Competitive Positioning: Closely monitor the competitive landscape (e.g., Porter, Uber, local courier services) and execute aggressive counter-strategies to maintain market share and brand preference.
- Team Management: Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing growth team, fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and speed.
Required Experience
- Domain Expertise: 812+ years of experience in growth marketing, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role at a high-growth consumer app company (B2C/D2C/Marketplace).
- Logistics/On-Demand Experience: Strong preference for candidates who have experience in high-frequency, on-demand, or marketplace models where trust and reliability are core product pillars.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of modern MarTech stacks (e.g., AppsFlyer/Branch, CleverTap/Mixpanel, Salesforce/Braze) and the ability to work comfortably with SQL or BI tools (Tableau/Looker).
- Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to manage large marketing budgets (8-figure+ annual spend) while maintaining strict ROAS and LTV:CAC ratios.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional squads, influencing product roadmaps, and collaborating with brand, design, and operations teams.
